Ashford Dunwoody - Windsor Parkway intersection project

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Brookhaven, GA, Oct. 23, 2023 – The City of Brookhaven, in partnership with the Georgia Department of Transportation, is seeking feedback about a proposed project to convert the stop intersection at Ashford Dunwoody Road and Windsor Parkway into a single-lane roundabout.

The project would include a 10-foot shared-use path on the east side of Ashford Dunwoody Road. Windsor Parkway between Ashford Dunwoody Road and Lanier Drive would gain a sidewalk on the north side, a shared-use path on the south side, and a curb and gutter.

This intersection improvement project is one of the mid-term projects recommended in the Ashford Dunwoody Road Corridor Study adopted by Council in April 2017.  In addition, this is one of the projects recommended in the Brookhaven Comprehensive Transportation Plan, adopted by Council on Sept. 9, 2014.
