Permits and Applications for Dumpsters, Street Closure, and Utility Encroachment

Dumpster Permit

An approved Dumpster Permit allows residents to place a commercial dumpster on a city street for a maximum of 30 days. Please register and submit your Dumpster Permit Application online using the Right-of-Way Permitting System (below).

Street Closure Permit

An approved Street Closure Permit allows residents to temporarily close a city street, travel lane, and or parking lane. Please register and submit your Street Closure Permit Application at least 10 business days prior to the start of the proposed street closing using the Right-of-Way Permitting System (below).

Utility Facility Encroachment

If you are looking to install utilities or utility facilities that encroach on the city’s right-of-way, please register and submit your Utility Permit Application online using the Right-of-Way Permitting System (below).

Please note that City has 10 working days to process your encroachment permit application.  Please submit your permit application well ahead of your start time.
