Brookhaven, GA, April 1, 2024 Competitive bids were opened on February 21, 2024, answering an invitation to contractors to bid on a three-year paving program for the City of Brookhaven. This award encompasses the paving program for the 2024, 2025, and 2026 years respectively. Over the three years specified, this project will impact 76 streets and 42.81 lane miles of Brookhaven roadways, and utilize SPLOST II (Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax) funding.

**CW Matthews was awarded the three-year contract by the Brookhaven City Council on March 26, 2024.**

The Pre-Construction Meeting was held on Friday, April 12, 2024, at 10:30 AM.

The Paving Project Commencement Date is Tentative at This Time.

The adopted roads are listed in the following (tables or attachments), by year,

2024 (Phase 1): All 29 streets listed are to be milled and overlayed with 3-inches of asphalt, except for Murphy Candler Court, which will be a Full-Depth-Reclamation (FDR) process.

2025 (Phase 2): All 28 streets listed are to be milled and overlayed with 3-inches of asphalt, except for Ashton Woods Drive, Durden Dive, and Sunderland Way, which will be a Full-Depth-Reclamation (FDR) process.

2026 (Phase 3): All 19 streets listed are to be milled and overlayed with 3-inches of asphalt.
