Ashford Dunwoody Road Multi-use Path Project Phase I – from Oconee Pass to Lake Hearn Drive

The project will construct a 10-foot-wide multi-use path (MUP) (approximately 2,350 linear feet) on the eastern side of Ashford Dunwoody Road beginning at Oconee Pass to Lake Hearn Drive along with landscaping, street furniture, and pedestrian scale lighting.  The design plans were developed by Arcadis through a contract with the Perimeter Community Improvement District (PCID).  The City is responsible for the right of way acquisition and construction phases of the project. 

Funding Source: This project is funded by the City’s Special Service District millage rate.

Status Update (February 9, 2024):  The project is currently in the right of way phase of development.  Acquisitions are anticipated to take approximately six months to complete.  The second submission to utility providers has been completed by Arcadis and final plan development is underway.

Status Update (November 15, 2023):  The project is currently in the right of way phase of development.  Acquisitions are anticipated to take approximately eight months to complete. 

Status Update (September 9, 2023):  The project is currently in the right of way phase of development.  Acquisitions are anticipated to take approximately ten months to complete. 

Status Update (June 20, 2023):  The project is currently in the right of way phase of development.  Acquisitions are anticipated to take approximately one year to complete.
