Briarwood Road Multi-Use Path Project – From Pine Cone Lane to Logan Circle (Walk 20-101)

This project will construct approximately 1,600 linear feet of 10-foot-wide multi-use path with ADA ramps and asphalt crosswalk markings along the southwestern side of Briarwood Road from just south of Pine Cone Lane to the intersection of Logan Circle. 

Funding Source: This project is funded by 2020 SPLOST (Special Purpose Local Options Sales Tax) allocation.

Status Update (February 16th, 2024):  The project is currently in the design and Right of Way phase of development.  The design work is approximately 95% complete.  Appraisals have been completed for all parcels for acquisition and Right of Way negotiations are ongoing.  The City anticipates having Right of Way acquisition completed in March 2024, and soon after, the project will be advertised for bids.
