The City has established a traffic calming policy whereby eligible neighborhoods may petition the city to authorize installation of traffic calming measures within their neighborhood. Seventy percent of households affected by a proposed traffic calming measure must sign a petition to be presented to the city of Brookhaven before the city can initiate a study.
