This is the program that governs how the City of Brookhaven manages the collection, conveyance, discharge, and a water quality aspects of the City-owned portions of the drainage system.

 

Did you know....
  1. The drainage system for the City of Brookhaven is made up of a system natural and manmade drainage features, all of which ultimately direct runoff to Nancy Creek or N Fork Peachtree Creek?
  2. Which of these is not part of drainage system:
    1. Underground pipes
    2. Ditches / Swales
    3. Catch basins
    4. Manholes
    5. Curbs
    6. Gutters
    7. Streets
    8. Front yards
    9. Backyards
    10. Creeks
    11. Roofs
    12. Sidewalks
    13. Detention ponds
    14. Underground vaults, and/or
    15. None of the above?
  •  All of these are part of the drainage system.  Anything that helps direct runoff from where it lands to Nancy Creek or N Fork Peachtree Creek is part of the drainage system.
