4180 TRIPPLE CREEK CT STORM DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT – COMPLETED

Tripple Creek Ct Storm draiange Rehabilitation - COMPLETED

Construction Progress - Replace failed 24" CMP drainage trunk line, pipe branches to street catch basins, and discharge headwall. Approved FY22. Start 3/13/23 Complete: 3/24/23

Background

A Service Request (ID #3212981) regarding a large sinkhole in the yard in the storm drainage easement and field inspections have determined the storm sewer drainage system has failed in the easement area of the resident’s yard at 4180 Tripple Creek Court.

This system drains an area from E. Nancy Creek Drive and Tripple Creek Court. The existing 18” CMP storm sewer drainage system extends from a catch basin in the road at 4180 Tripple Creek Court and along the property line between 4180 and 4175 Tripple Creek Court to a creek behind the two residential properties. The CMP between the homes is failing, causing multiple sink holes to form, and needs to be replaced. There is a large sinkhole in the front side yard adjacent to the resident’s driveway. The existing catch basins require replacement due to their condition and to accommodate the new pipe connections.

PROPOSED WORK: Replacement of the existing 18” CMP with 18” A-2000 storm pipe, replace the existing CB with a new GDOT 1034 double wing CB and construct a new headwall at the outfall into the creek. Driveway apron replacement for the new CB and restoration of easement area will also be required
