LMIG - Safety Improvement Project

Please be advised that the Dresden Drive Pedestrian Crosswalk signal work has been completed.

City of Brookhaven has identified five locations with existing flashing pedestrian beacons for additional safety measures.  This project will be to add additional equipment to improve visibility and prominence of the activated pedestrian crossing. The City of Brookhaven would like to enhance these crossings with edge-lit pedestrian signs and in-pavement cat-eye flashers.  Signage and flashers to be installed to face both directions at each crossing. 

Proposed locations are listed below:

   - Ashford Dunwoody Road at Kadleston Way - Pedestrian lights installed on January 28, 2022.

   - Ashford Dunwoody Road at Cambridge Square at Blackburn Park - Tested pavement cat-eye lights on January 28, 2022. 

   - Dresden Drive at Camille Drive - Installation scheduled as followed:

   - Dresden Drive at the entrance to Village Place at Brookhaven (1441 Dresden Drive) Installation

   - Dresden Drive at Appalachee Drive to Camille Drive - Nighttime work to begin February 1, 2022, with the following schedule:
