North Druid Hills Road Multi-use Path Project

This project will construct a 10-foot-wide multi-use path (MUP) from the existing MUP south of Sylvan Circle NE to the MARTA station at Apple Valley Road (approximately 900 linear feet) along the eastern side of North Druid Hills Road. ADA accessible ramps and crosswalk striping where missing will be installed.  Pedestrian scale lighting will be included as well as other streetscape elements where feasible.

Funding Source: This project is funded by the City’s Special Service District millage rate.

Status Update (February 9, 2024):  The project is currently in the design phase of development.  The design work is approximately 85% complete and is anticipated to be complete by the late springUtility coordination is ongoing with utility providers.

Status Update (November 15, 2023):  The project is currently in the design phase of development.  The design work is approximately 80% complete and is anticipated to be complete by the first quarter of 2024

Status Update (June 20, 2023):  The project is currently in the design phase of development.  The design work is approximately 70% complete and is anticipated to be complete by the summer.
