National Weather Service - Weather, water, and climate data, forecasts and warnings for the protection of life and property and enhancement of the national economy.

National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) - The science-based federal agency within the Department of Commerce with regulatory, operational, and information service responsibilities with a presence in every state and our territories, which includes the National Weather Service.

Department of Homeland Security - Ready.gov - For tips on home-based emergency preparedness and response kits.

National Safety Council - The National Safety Council is a nonprofit organization with the mission of eliminating preventable deaths at work, homes and communities, and on the road through leadership, research, education and advocacy.
