Fingerprinting Service

Fingerprinting services are provided to residents of the City of Brookhaven and to those persons required to obtain fingerprints for employment within the City of Brookhaven.  Fingerprinting services are conducted by appointment only.  You may schedule an appointment by calling 404-637-0600 and asking to speak with a Police Service Representative.  Appointment times are available Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm.

The cost of fingerprinting is $15.00 per set (2 fingerprint cards).

 


Please note: In an effort to enhance public safety during the COVID-19 pandemic by limiting public contacts within our facility, the Brookhaven Police Department does not provide fingerprinting services to non-residents, except those seeking employment at a Brookhaven business.  A valid identification (State Issued ID or Passport) and proof of city residency and/or application for employment or permitting at a Brookhaven business will be required prior to obtaining a background check.

Fingerprinting is conducted electronically, via live scan. If you have a set of cards (Form FD-258) please do not fill out the sections; the live scan machine will complete that for you.
