Police Transparency

It is the mission of the Brookhaven Police Department to enhance the quality of life for those within our community by providing professional, high quality and effective police service in partnership with the community. The Department also strives for transparency, and provides a number of ways for the public to access information. 

The Brookhaven Police Department has fully demonstrated its commitment to law enforcement excellence by meeting all applicable standards as established in the State of Georgia Law Enforcement Certification program. Therefore, upon recommendation of the Joint Review Committee of the State ofGeorgia Law Enforcement Certification Program, this agency earned its re-accreditation and was hereby recognized as a Certified Law Enforcement Agency from February 28th, 2023 -February 27th, 2026.
