Addition or Accessory Structure - Residential Construction

Project Portal

To apply for a residential addition or accessory structure permit, please login to the Project Portal to complete your application and upload project plans. 

The following is required for all Addition or Accessory Structure construction permits:

  • Site Plan 
  • Residential Plan Review Data Sheet (click here to access)
  • Construction Drawings (must be to scale) including: 
    • Elevations
    • All rooms labeled as to use
    • Electrical Schematic
    • Structural drawings including floor and roof framing
    • Stamped drawings for engineered building components
  • Authorized Agent Form 
  • Contractor Registration Form
  • DeKalb County Easement Approval (routing instructions will be sent after permit acceptance)
