Business Partnerships Make Critical Improvements

Brookhaven Peachtree Creek Greenway Phase I

Critical to the success of Brookhaven's Peachtree Creek Greenway are our business partners
In 2016, the Salvation Army Board voted to support the planning of the Greenway and in 2017 solidified that motion by donating property along the Creek and several parking spaces to the City. The donation will allow for the full 14-foot-wide trail adjacent to the Temple and a community plaza and entrance at the Corporate Blvd. headquarters with ADA parking for visitors.

In 2018, Children's Hospital of Atlanta (CHOA) reached an agreement with the City that includes the construction of a vehicular and pedestrian tunnel beneath I-85 that will support Greenway access, and a study of the North Druid Hills interchange that will consider safe pedestrian crossing to the Greenway entrance on North Druid Hills Rd.  CHOA is in the process of building their 70-acre campus in Brookhaven. The first building in that complex, the  Center for Advanced Pediatrics opened its doors July 24, 2018.

Proposals for business sponsorship of Greenway amenities and future events are encouraged.  Please contact Strategic Partnerships Director, Patty Hansen for more information.
