New Commercial Building or New Multi-Family Building

To apply for the construction of a new commercial and/or multi-family building, please login to the Project Portal to complete all information for the application and upload your project plans. 

The following is required for all New Commercial and/or Multi-Family Building construction permits:

• Site Plan 
  • Land disturbance  > 5,000 sf requires an approved site plan from a corresponding LDP
    • See Land Development Applications and Checklists for more information
  • Land disturbance  < 5,000 sf - see Comprehensive Building Permit Checklist 
• Sealed Construction Drawings including: 
  • Structural drawings
  • MEPs
  • Stamped drawings for engineered building components
• DeKalb County Watershed Management Approval (routing instructions will be sent after permit acceptance)
• Authorized Agent Form 
• Contractor Registration Form (if applicable)
