FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Brookhaven, GA, April 3, 2024 – Following a public input process that was extended until March of this year, a final Multimodal Study Open House will take place on Thursday, April 18, 6 to 7:30 p.m., at Brookhaven City Hall, 4362 Peachtree Road.
Participants will be able to review an updated proposed multimodal network, ask questions, and provide feedback.
The Multimodal Study will serve as an update to the City’s first Bicycle, Pedestrian, and Trail Plan, which was adopted in 2016. The plan examined existing conditions and identified locations where improvements for bicyclists and pedestrians were most needed with an expanded multimodal focus.
The City kicked off the Multimodal Study in May of last year with an open house, an online survey, and a pop-up event at the Brookhaven Bike Alliance Pedal the Parks event. A second open house for Brookhaven’s Multimodal Study took place on Nov. 2 at Brookhaven City Hall.
