The survey was administered by ETC Institute, a national leader in survey research that has conducted hundreds of customer satisfaction surveys for cities across the country. A representative sample of 3,000 Brookhaven residents were chosen at random to participate in the survey. The overall results for the sample have a precision of at least +/-4.6% at the 95% level of confidence. ETC consultants monitored the distribution of the sample to ensure that it reasonably reflects the demographic composition of the City with regard to age, geographic dispersion, gender, race/ethnicity and other factors.
