NEW DATE AND TIME: Brookhaven announces groundbreaking for universally accessible playground at Murphey Candler Park Brookhaven, GA, Oct. 12, 2018 – Thanks to an innovative partnership, construction is about to begin on a brand new, ADA-accessible playground at Brookhaven’s Murphey Candler Park. A ceremonial groundbreaking will be held on Thursday, Oct. 18 at 10 a.m. at the park on 1551 W. Nancy Creek, between the pool house and the Sea Scout Hut. The project was made possible by the partnership of the Murphey Candler Park Conservancy (MCPC) and a $75,000 grant from Resurgens Charitable Foundation. |
