Brookhaven Police Department is Awarded the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety Pedestrian Safety Grant Brookhaven, GA Nov. 7, 2018 - The City of Brookhaven is pleased to announce it has received a $55,075.76 grant from the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety (GOHS). City closes temporary maintenance yard at Osborne Park, relocates to Briarwood Road site FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Brookhaven, GA, Oct. 25, 2018 – With the opening of a new municipal maintenance yard along Briarwood Road, the City of Brookhaven has now closed its temporary facility at Osborne Park. In July, the Brookhaven City Council unanimously approved a contract in the amount of $113,690 with Pro Building System to establish a permanent municipal maintenance yard at the new location at 1793 Briarwood Road. The move eliminates the need to store equipment and operate from the Osborne Park site. |

Brookhaven awards contract for Peachtree Creek Greenway construction FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Brookhaven, GA, Oct. 23, 2018 – Phase I of the Peachtree Creek Greenway in Brookhaven now has a builder. On Oct. 23, the City Council awarded a $7.99 million contract to Lewallen Construction Co., based in Marietta.
