City Council wrap-up for the Oct. 11 meeting

Brookhaven, GA, Oct. 13, 2022 – The Brookhaven City Council acted on several items in its Oct. 11 meeting: 

  • The Council issued a proclamation in recognition of Brookhaven Arts and Humanities Month.
     
  • The Council unanimously approved a consent agenda which included:
     
    • The minutes of the Sept. 27 Work Session and Regular Meeting.
       
    • The Memorandum of Understanding for North Metro SWAT.
       
    • An application to the Georgia Department of Transportation Local Maintenance Improvement Program.
    • An application to the Public Safety and Community Violence Reduction Program.
    • A resolution to amend the bylaws of the Brookhaven Convention and Visitors Bureau, Inc., (Explore Brookhaven) to change the number of absences allowed for Trustees.
