City Council special called meeting on Dec. 30

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Brookhaven, GA, Dec. 29, 2021 – The Brookhaven City Council will conduct a special called meeting Thursday, Dec. 30, at 1 p.m. In consideration of social distancing recommendations, the meeting will be held via video conference.

In order to ensure transparency and accountability, the public will continue to be able to weigh in during the Public Hearing by any of the following options:

A live stream of the meeting can be viewed on the City’s website at www.BrookhavenGA.gov (under the City Hall tab, go to “Agendas and Minutes”) and on Facebook Live at www.Facebook.com/BrookhavenGAgov

The Dec. 30 meeting contains the following for City Council consideration:

  • Clarification of the definition of “parcels” in the ordinance (approved Dec. 14) to create the City of Brookhaven Special Service District, providing for definitions, establishing an effective date, and for other purposes. Public comment will be available for this item.
