City Council elects John Funny as Mayor Pro Tempore

Brookhaven, GA, Jan. 9, 2024 At the first meeting of 2024, the Brookhaven City Council voted and elected Councilman John J. Funny to the position of Mayor Pro-Tempore.

After careful consideration and unanimous support from fellow council members, Councilman Funny has been chosen to serve as Mayor Pro-Tempore for the upcoming term. This significant decision reflects the council's confidence in Councilman Funny's leadership abilities, dedication to public service, and commitment to the betterment of our community.
