City Council business meeting on Sept. 27

Brookhaven, GA, Sept. 27, 2022 – The Brookhaven City Council will conduct its next regularly scheduled business meeting Tuesday, Sept. 27, at 7 p.m., at Brookhaven City Hall, 4362 Peachtree Road NE, in Brookhaven. While the meeting will be held in person, the public can participate in public hearings and public comment remotely via Zoom video conference.
Residents can submit public input by any of the following options:

The business meeting contains the following for City Council consideration:
- A public hearing and ordinance to amend Chapter 27, Article VII Division 12, Section 27.722 - TA22-01: Donation Box Text Amendment.
- A public hearing and ordinance amending Brookhaven Zoning Code - Chapter 27, Article VII, Division 4, Section 27-588 - TA22-02: Household Living (Adding 7 Varying Unit Sizes).
- A resolution appointing Trustee Chris Young to the Brookhaven Convention and Visitors Bureau.
- A public comment availability.
- A consent agenda which includes:
- The minutes of the Sept. 13 Work Session and Regular Meeting.
- A contract with Pattterson Pope in the amount of $110,285.57 for storage and space saver equipment for the new Public Safety Building.
- Adoption of the 2021 CDBG Action Plan Consolidated Annual Performance Evaluation Report.
- The minutes of the Sept. 13 Work Session and Regular Meeting.
- A sole source design contract for Buford Hwy Streetscape to Atkins North America for $173,079.30.
- A task order under the on-call engineering services contract to Heath & Lineback for $113,760.00 for sidewalk design along Chantilly Drive.
- An agreement with Georgia Bridge and Concrete, LLC for $428,405.00 for the demolition of the existing bridge on W. Nancy Creek Drive over the tributary to Nancy Creek.
