City Council business meeting on Nov. 28

Brookhaven, GA, Nov. 22, 2023 – The Brookhaven City Council will conduct its next regularly scheduled business meeting Tuesday, Nov. 28 at 7 p.m., at Brookhaven City Hall, 4362 Peachtree Road NE, in Brookhaven. While the meeting will be held in person, the public can participate in public hearings and public comment remotely via Zoom video conference.

Residents can submit public input by any of the following options:

A live stream of the meeting can be viewed on the City’s website at www.BrookhavenGA.gov (under the City Hall tab, go to “Agendas and Minutes”).

The business meeting contains the following for City Council consideration:

  • The second public hearing of the FY2024 recommended budget. 
  • A consent agenda which includes:
    • The minutes of the Nov. 14, 2023, Work Session and Regular Meeting.
  • Adoption of the FY2024 budget.
  • Adoption of 2024 the Explore Brookhaven budget.
  • A resolution to authorize the City of Brookhaven to extend an intergovernmental agreement with DeKalb County for property located at 3292 Buford Highway
  • A settlement agreement and release with GoMarketing, LLC.
  • A warming center Memorandum of Understanding.
  • A resolution authorizing condemnation of property for completing the Briarwood Road Multi-Use Path Project.
  • A resolution authorizing acquisition of property for completing the Briarwood Road Multi-Use Path Project
