City Council business meeting on May 24

Brookhaven, GA, May 23, 2022 – The Brookhaven City Council will conduct its next regularly scheduled business meeting Tuesday, May 24, at 7 p.m., at Brookhaven City Hall, 4362 Peachtree Road NE, in Brookhaven. While the meeting will be held in person, the public can participate in public hearings and public comment remotely via Zoom video conference.

Residents can submit public input by any of the following options:

A live stream of the meeting can be viewed on the City’s website at www.BrookhavenGA.gov (under the City Hall tab, go to “Agendas and Minutes”)

The business meeting contains the following for City Council consideration:

  • A public hearing and consideration of an ordinance amending Chapter 27, Article V, Buford Highway and Peachtree Road Overlay Districts for an art incentive text amendment.
  • The reappointment of Lori Gray and Sean Pharr to the Park Bond Oversight Committee. 
     
  •  A public comment availability. 
     
  • A consent agenda which includes:
    • The minutes of the May 10 Work Session and Regular Meeting.
    • An application to the US Department of Justice Bullet Proof Vest Partnership.
    • An application to the US Department of Justice Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS).
  • A task order authorization - Paving Utility Locate (SUE) 2021 - 2023 Paving Programs.
