City Council business meeting on Feb. 13

Brookhaven, GA, Feb. 12, 2024 – The Brookhaven City Council will conduct its next regularly scheduled business meeting Tuesday, Feb. 13 at 6:30 p.m., at Brookhaven City Hall, 4362 Peachtree Road NE, in Brookhaven.

The business meeting contains the following for City Council consideration:

  • A consent agenda which includes:
    • The minutes of the Jan. 23, 2024, Work Session and Regular Meeting.
    • The release and sale of Canine Lord.
  • A task order with Dewberry Engineers for the amount of $184,795 for professional engineering design services for Phases II and III of the Upper Poplar Creek Drainage Improvements Project.
  • An additional service agreement for Alta Planning & Design for the Brookhaven Multimodal Study for $42,808.
  • A resolution to approve the SPLOST II bond issuance.
  • A resolution to approve the 2024 Tax Bonds Series
  • A resolution to re-appointing members to the Citizens Oversight Committee to assist the City Council, City staff, and the contract program manager in implementing the Park General Obligation Bond expenditures and Parks Master Plans.
  • An agreement for pool management services with Dynamo Pool Management not to exceed $326,000.
     
  • The 2024 surplus review (Police, Facilities, Parks & Recreations).
