City Council business meeting on April 25

Brookhaven, GA, April 24, 2023 – The Brookhaven City Council will conduct its next regularly scheduled business meeting Tuesday, April 25, at 7 p.m., at Brookhaven City Hall, 4362 Peachtree Road NE, in Brookhaven. While the meeting will be held in person, the public can participate in public hearings and public comment remotely via Zoom video conference.

Residents can submit public input by any of the following options:

A live stream of the meeting can be viewed on the City’s website at www.BrookhavenGA.gov (under the City Hall tab, go to “Agendas and Minutes”).

The business meeting contains the following for City Council consideration:

  • A public hearing and consideration of a rezoning by Structure Properties, LLC of 1348 Windsor Parkway, 3147 and 3153 Osborne Road and 1153 Victoria Street from C-1 (Local Commercial) and RS-75 (Single Dwelling Detached) to NS (Neighborhood shopping) with concurrent variances to allow a neighborhood scale commercial development.
  • A public hearing and consideration of the Community Development Block Grant 2023 Action Plan.
  • A consent agenda which includes:
    • The minutes of the April 11, 2023, Work Session and Regular Meeting
    • Approval of the application to the US Department of Justice Law Enforcement Mental Health Wellness Act Grant
       
  • A resolution recognizing Georgia Cities Week, April 23-29, 2023.
     
  • Approval of on-demand right-of-way acquisition services.
