Replace the Catch Basin pipe, Headwall and restore the slope. 

The 24” CMP pipes from the street will be replaced with a 24” ADS HP Storm polypropylene pipe to a new manhole bedded on the rock formation under the pool shown above left.  The direction of discharge flows will be aligned with the stream bed on the top side of the rock formation pictured right.  A concrete or granite rubble headwall will be placed at this location, and rip rap will be placed on compacted adjacent soils at the headwall.  A GSWCC storm drain outlet protection BMP will be installed below the headwall.  The exposed rock downstream will provide additional erosion and scour protection.  The slope and headcut areas will be backfilled and compacted in lifts with structural soil materials.  The exposed bank will be stabilized with staked and seeded matting/geofabric.
