Housing Authority of DeKalb County - HADC operates a wide variety of programs that are designed to provide affordable housing solutions to DeKalb County residents.
- For Low Income Renters - The Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program is designed to provide assistance to low-income families, the elderly, and the disabled to afford decent, safe, and sanitary housing in the private market. Through the HCV Program, HADC pays a portion of eligible families’ rent each month directly to the Property Owner/Manager.
- Elderly - Project-Based Voucher for Elderly (62+) Communities

- Family currently living in a Hotel - The Hotels to Permanency program (H2P) places vulnerable families with children who have been living in hotels into permanent housing. H2P provides a 12-month subsidy to families who are paired with case managers from various agencies, that work with them to become self-sufficient.
- Households already receiving voucher assistance - The Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) Program is a voluntary program offered to current Housing Choice Voucher families. The program is designed to assist families in becoming independent of public assistance. FSS families are assisted with education, career/vocational counseling, job search techniques, mental and physical health issues, substance abuse, money management, child care, transportation, and other relevant needs. The Homeownership Voucher Program offers a mortgage subsidy to low income households that currently receive Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Rental Assistance. Mortgage assistance payments are paid directly to the lender or loan servicing company.

Latin American Association - Offers one-on-one case management in personal finance to prevent homelessness and ensure that Latino families can afford their monthly rent or mortgage. They offer rent assistance in cases of extreme need, as well as assistance to tenants who have complaints against their landlords. They also provide referrals to housing providers and other community organizations for those in need of shelter.
