Saturday, March 16

The 2024 Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival 5K road race takes place Saturday, March 16, at 8:30 a.m. at Blackburn Park, 3493 Ashford Dunwoody Road.

The race route travels from Blackburn Park, north on Ashford Dunwoody Road, then right on Harts Mill Road, right on Bubbling Creek Road, then right again on Donaldson Drive.  The last leg of the run will traverse the walking trail at Blackburn Park to the finish line.  See the road race map on this page, and click on it to expand. 

During the morning hours of March 18, there will be one-lane closures on all of the above-mentioned streets. Residents and commuters are asked to avoid driving in this area if possible.

Saturday and Sunday, March 23 and 24

Expect Ashford Dunwoody Road to be especially backed up Saturday and Sunday, March 23 and 24, with the festival taking place. Avoid travel past Blackburn Park to minimize traffic backups. 

NO PARKING

There is NO FESTIVAL PARKING in the immediate area of Blackburn Park. All local lots and side streets will be posted and vehicles will be subject to towing to alleviate congestion for local residents.
