Brookhaven, GA, Feb. 5, 2018 – The City of Brookhaven announces an all-star music lineup for the 2018 Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival on March 24-25, 2018 at Blackburn Park, 3493 Ashford Dunwoody Road in Brookhaven.  Admission is free.

Performing Saturday, March 24 is concert headliner and country music star Craig Morgan as well as country music sensation Keith Anderson.  The festival opens from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., with more live entertainment to be announced.

Live entertainment for Sunday, March 25, will be announced in the coming weeks.  Festival hours on Sunday are 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

“The Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival is our marquee event of the year, and with the partnership of Live Nation and Splash Festivals, we are going to have a music and art extravaganza that will kick off the Atlanta-area festival season in style,” said Brookhaven Mayor John Ernst.

A multi-faceted entertainer, Craig Morgan has made a name for himself as a country music icon, TV personality, celebrated outdoorsman and patriotic Army veteran. One of country music's best-loved artists, Morgan has charted 25 songs on Billboard and thrills massive crowds with signature hits including “Bonfire,” Almost Home,” “Redneck Yacht Club,” “International Harvester,” “This Ole Boy,” Wake Up Loving You” and the four-week number one, “That's What I Love About Sunday.” His newest album, A Whole Lot More To Me, features singles “I’ll Be Home Soon” and “When I’m Gone.” Morgan received one of country music's highest honors when he was inducted as a member of the Grand Ole Opry in 2008. Prior to becoming a country music star and TV sensation, Morgan spent seventeen years serving our country in the Army and Army Reserves. He is an avid supporter of America's military personnel who has made 14 overseas trips to perform for our troops and is a recipient of the 2006 USO Merit Award. In addition to a prolific country music career, he hosts the award-winning TV show Craig Morgan: All Access Outdoors, approaching its ninth season on Outdoor Channel. This spring, UP TV will premiere Morgan Family Strong. The docuseries will follow Morgan and his close-knit family as they launch the family’s passion project – Morgan Farms.

Keith Anderson’s latest song is “I’ll Bring The Music.”  His debut CD, "Three Chord Country and American Rock & Roll", was certified Gold and garnered two Top 10 hits (accompanied by two No. 1 music videos), "Pickin’ Wildflowers," and "Every Time I Hear Your Name," along with two Top 30 hits "XXL" and "Podunk". This success prompted music trades Billboard and Radio & Records to name him country music’s No. 1 New Male Artist of 2005 and the top new solo country artist of the year.  Anderson was also named one of People Magazine’s "50 Hottest Bachelors", and Men’s Fitness Magazine’s, "Ultimate Country Star.” Anderson’s sophomore CD garnered the biggest hit of his career, “I Still Miss You”, which peaked at number 2 and another Top 25 hit, “Sunday Morning In America.” Anderson has co-written hits for other artists, most notably "Lost In This Moment", the No. 1 smash for Big & Rich which garnered him a CMA and ACM Song of the Year nomination.  Anderson also co-wrote the Grammy-nominated, "Beer Run (B Double E Double Are You In?)" for Garth Brooks and George Jones, "The Bed" for Gretchen Wilson and "Barn Burner" for Jason Michael Carroll.

In October, the Brookhaven City Council approved a contract with Splash Festivals to operate the Arts & Crafts Market and handle logistics for the event.  Splash Festivals also manages the festivals in Dunwoody, Norcross, Johns Creek, Alpharetta and other locations. So far, Splash Festivals has registered 100 vendors for the Brookhaven event, more than triple the size of previous markets.

This year, the festival will premiere a food court sitting area providing guests with a 360-degree view of the stage, Kidzone and dog show area.  The car show will be returning on Saturday, March 24 and the 5K road race, now designated as a Peachtree Road Race qualifier and fundraiser for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, will take place on Sunday, March 25.
