Brookhaven’s Sixth Annual Cherry Blossom Festival announced

Brookhaven, GA, Jan. 22, 2020 -- The City of Brookhaven announces key dates for the 2020 Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival at Blackburn Park, 3493 Ashford Dunwoody Road in Brookhaven.

The Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival 5K/1K, takes place Saturday, March 21, at 7:30 a.m.  This year’s 5K, which is both USATF-certified for the 2020 Peachtree Road Race qualifying and a fundraiser for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, will take runners through Blackburn Park. The Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival, a music and arts extravaganza, takes place Saturday and Sunday, March 28-29, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is free.  For the third year, the City of Brookhaven is partnering with Splash Festivals and Live Nation.  Splash will operate the Arts & Crafts Market and ever-popular Kidz Zone as well as handle logistics for the event. A detailed schedule of musical performers will be released soon.

The Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival is accepting applications for food vendors through Premier Events.  Interested vendors should visit www.BrookCherryFest.org, and click on “vendors” to apply.  Any questions or requests for additional information about food sales should be directed to vending@premiereeventslive.com. The deadline to apply is Feb. 28.

The Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival is accepting applications for children’s vendors and artist vendors.  Interested vendors should visit www.BrookCherryFest.org, and click on “vendors” to apply through Splash Festivals.  Any questions or requests for additional information about children’s vendors and artist vendors should be directed to Splash Festivals through the website.  The deadline to apply is Jan. 31.
