Rooms To Go moving Atlanta-area headquarters to Brookhaven

Here we grow again

Brookhaven, GA, Aug. 8, 2020 – Everything may be better at Rooms To Go, but things must be better in Brookhaven as well. The furniture retail giant, which pioneered the concept of selling whole room packages, has announced it is moving its Atlanta-area headquarters to Brookhaven in the first half of 2021.

Looking to expand its corporate footprint in Atlanta and lacking the appropriate space to do so at its current location, the company is making the short move from Dunwoody across municipal boundaries to a 60,000-square-foot space in a new 16-story office tower at 4004 Perimeter Summit. Approximately 150 employees will be involved in the relocation. “We believe the new office environment in Brookhaven will help us recruit additional talented associates as we grow our Atlanta-area headquarters over the next several years,” said Rooms To Go CEO Jeff Seaman.

“We are extremely pleased to welcome Rooms To Go to the Brookhaven business community,” noted Mayor John Ernst. “They not only bring the promise of new jobs and tax revenue, but they are known for being good corporate citizens as well. Rooms To Go regularly partners with local sports teams, charities, food, and furniture banks to support the community in any way they can. We are fortunate to have them as new corporate neighbors.”

Brookhaven District One Councilwoman Linley Jones echoed Ernst’s sentiments. “I welcome Rooms to Go and its employees to Perimeter Summit,” said Jones. “I am honored that the company chose District 1 and Brookhaven for its Atlanta-area headquarters.”

Rooms To Go first opened its doors in 1991. The company operates 226 stores in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Puerto Rico and employs over 7,000 people throughout the southeast. According to Furniture Today, Rooms To Go is the third largest furniture retailer in the U.S.
