Demolition was complete by late March 2022 for the new splashpad and grading will be in progress through April.  Work on the stormwater system, sanitary sewer, underground detention, and pool house footings is also planned to start later in April. The project is scheduled to be complete at the end of 2022 so that the splashpad and pool will be ready for Summer 2023.

The current design has been discussed at several Park Bond Oversight Committee meetings and the design team has been instructed to proceed with design of the new aquatic features and the rest of the park.

The Park Bond project will also include the associated pool buildings, parking lot improvement, artificial turf multi-purpose field and restrooms, food truck driveway, and plaza area.

The road connection remains as a future part of the Master Plan.
