National Police Week - May 12 - 18

Brookhaven encourages residents and business owners to thank their local police officers as part of National Police Week, which is May 12-18. The national celebration honors law enforcement who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

As part of this special week, Brookhaven extends a sincere thank you to the men and women who serve and protect our community every day. Brookhaven is especially thankful to Chief Gary Yandura and Deputy Chief Ron Freeman, who are busy helping establish the city’s first police department. The city also thanks the DeKalb County Police and other agencies who help keep our city safe.
