Brookhaven’s Food Truck Roundup returns this month
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Brookhaven, GA, Aug. 1, 2017 – Brookhaven’s Food Truck Roundup returns this month to Blackburn Park after a short summer hiatus.
Visitors can enjoy a plethora of culinary delights on Wednesdays from 6 to 9 p.m., Aug. 16-Oct. 25 at the park at 3493 Ashford Dunwoody Road.
“For the first time our food truck fans, as well as new visitors, will be able to enjoy the event in the fall after a summer break,” said Parks and Recreation Director Brian Borden “We adjusted this year’s schedule to take advantage of the good weather we have in the spring, but in the middle of the summer the attendance wanes and we cannot ensure the same variety.”
The event series was first launched in 2013, and has been wildly successful throughout its first three years.
Up to 10 food truck dining options will converge at Blackburn Park, as well as a beer and wine tent, live entertainment and activities for children.
Limited seating will be available. Attendees are encouraged to bring picnic blankets and lawn chairs. Parking is free.
The Food Truck Roundup is hosted by the City in conjunction with the Atlanta Street Food Coalition.
